I don't know about you, but I have been on a skincare journey. It all started in high school with raging cystic acne that I could not get under control. I've tried every over the counter acne treatment you can think of and nothing worked. Nothing. It took me until Sophomore year of college to finally see a dermatologist. 6 months later, my skin was clear, but not of acne scarring and hyper-pigmentation. For the past 2 years (and as a recent college graduate), these are my go-to skincare products that have helped maintain the health of my skin and truly changed my life:
1. Foreo Luna Mini 2
Of all the products mentioned in this post, please pay attention to this one. I thought I was doing enough just by washing my face twice a day, but a form of exfoliation is SO important. I still use an exfoliator that contains beads/grains, but the Foreo gets the remaining dead skin cells off while helping to even out skin tone. I have noticed such a difference in my skin texture using this product. I personally purchased the Amazon dupe, and it has the same benefits as the Foreo. It's compact, easy to charge, and especially easy to use.

2. Mario Badescu Seaweed Cleansing Soap
Before saying anything else, you need to know that Mario Badescu is a great brand overall with simple products, simple ingredients, and it won't break the bank. The majority of products I currently use are actually Mario Badescu, and it's what I started out with once I cleared my skin 2 years ago. Seaweed has so many natural benefits to the skin, and it never irritates a break out I get here and there. I use this cleansing soap religiously to clean my skin every morning and night with my Foreo.

3. The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution
While this is a newer product to my skin care routine, it's great for quick results that are apparent after one or two uses! It's basically a 10 minute chemical peel that isn't as intense as one administered at a dermatologist, and requires no down time to heal. Skin is smooth and supple after using! Oh, and did I mention it's $7.00?

4. RoC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Anti-Aging Serum
Although I'm in my twenties, I started on anti-aging products while my skin is still fairly young. I'm not going crazy or anything. I noticed the lines on my neck and around my smile line were deepening, so I apply this product every night in those areas. Retinol can dry out your skin if used too much, but this anti-aging serum is incredibly moisturizing. My mom even uses the RoC brand, and she looks 30!

5. OleHenriksen Glow2OH Dark Spot Toner
Brightening my acne scars has been a priority of mine ever since I cleared my skin. While it's not perfect, this is the product that I've seen the most results with. I use it about every other night after washing my face, and follow it with a moisturizer.

6. Soap and Glory Magnificoco Drop in the Lotion Body Lotion
Although a lotion isn't groundbreaking, this scent is unreal! It's like island paradise, full on coconut + vanilla. It's so creamy and hydrating, but not too thick where it makes your skin feel greasy. It also comes in a large container that usually lasts around 4-6 months. It's the only lotion I use now; I apply it religiously every night after a shower.

7. EcoTools Dry Body Brush
This is an unspoken miracle product! Dry brushing has so many benefits, like, lymphatic drainage, cellulite reduction, skin exfoliation, and blood circulation. Basically, it helps get all the bad stuff out of your body. Simply brush over your skin before a shower in upwards motions toward your heart. Once you finish showering, follow with your choice of lotion.

8. Mario Badescu Rose Hip Mask
This is another Mario Badescu product I swear by. This is a face mask I use about once a week as a skin refresh and reset. It's also great to use if you get a few breakouts every now and then, and won't irritate active acne. I see a decrease in the appearance of acne the following day! I will often rotate between the rose hip mask and the Mario Badescu whitening mask, so I'm still targeting hyper-pigmentation.

9. Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel
I'm a BIG moisturizer girl because nobody likes dry, flakey skin. I like to think I'm putting youth back into my skin instead of just leaving it for the tumbleweeds. This product is perfect for all skin types, but especially oily skin because the gel base doesn't add the feeling of greasiness like a lotion would. I apply this morning and night, and always feel supple.

10. Jade Roller
Jade Rolling is another technique I swear by that actually produces results. It's used for facial sculpting, lymphatic drainage, skin re-texturing, and to reduce puffiness. I like to do this every other night with a facial serum and focus it around my cheeks/cheek bones. The appearance of uneven skin texture is greatly reduced and evident the next morning. Jade Rolling in the morning is also great to wake up the skin and reduce under eye bags.
